Case study: Data Entry ERP
Our customer, a big hospital in USA wanted to have ERP data entry services for inventory management of all of their existing products done.
Client Requirement:
The client wanted to find out the present prices for all the items available on their ERP system to comply with some audit requirements. They had around 8000 items for which price identification was required in a short period of time.
Our Approach:
While working with similar data entry works earlier we knew that it was going to be a resource-intensive task, and thorough Quality Control was required. We appointed a team of 7 people for this task, 5 were searching for the products and their prices while entering into the ERP system and 2 were working on Quality control of the work. QC team worked and checked each item once again to make sure that they are 100% correct.
Conclusion:
We searched prices for approx 8000 items manually within a workweek and entered them into an excel sheet, which can be used to import into the ERP system when required. Additionally, we also provided a separate excel sheet to the client so he can independently verify the sources of data if he wishes to. Our data entry team worked fully with total commitment and attention to detail while respecting the client’s deadline.
